AS I sit here trying to sweep the sleep from my eyes I can only smile, for only a moment ago My Sweet Lord awoke me with the gentlest of touches, His voice low and his gaze adoring as he just looks at his beautiful daughter. I smile through sleep covered eyes as I smile knowing my Father is with me. I can invision his kneeling next to my bed a smile on his face saying" Awake my child a new day dawns I have work for you to do." smiling as I begin to stir he continues. " but have no fear for I am with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. I have great plans for you and I will give you all you need."
I sit up as I get my barrings " Good Morning Father thank you for a new day. Thank you for all you have given me I look forward to this new day and all that is in store. There may be times today where I find myself weary and alone but that is only because I am still human and that is a limitation I need to over come for I know you are with me. Guide my steps today and led me where you need me. For my desire is to please you And bring Glory to your name. I am not afraid for I know you are there.

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. Thank you so much. It reminds me of how I start my days. From my bedroom window I can see the steeple on a church with a little cross at the top. I look out at it as I get out of bed and say "Good Morning, Lord". There's a very long story about how I got to live where I live. Needless to say God used my trauma to bring me amazing blessings. This view from my window I believe to be a sign from God to make sure I don't forget what He has done for me.
