God Has Given Me Another Day

Good Morning everyone. How many mornings  do you wake up and immediately jump into your day?
I know I do and I did quite often a few years and even months ago. But now those days are far and few between.

There are mornings I will consciously just lay there and thank God, my Heavenly Father for another day. What I will be asked to do I have no idea. Maybe nothing but sit home read and write, Sometimes venture out into the world on some errand. But what ever it is I can be sure one of three things
.One) it will take me out of my comfort zone,
Two) God will be with me as I do thing "thing", whatever it is and
Three) I hope and pray I help encourage someone else

Today on one of my emails which I subscribe to I read a blog from a fellow writer. you can find it here ...

But this blogger asked what my life's motto was and I had to stop and think.  What would be my life's motto if someone were to ask me? For this I had to think, and if you know me just a little bit, you know I can't do that successfully before I've had coffee.

Well let's see, one my email signature it is Never Stop Dreaming ( which came from the movie "flashdance when Alex was told " when you give up your dream you die. Hope I can say that without getting into trouble)

Then I thought about the speech I gave in speech class which was I didn't quit.  So if I had to choose a motto it would be I didn't  quit because I never stopped dreaming.

See I was abused as a child, So when I made it to adulthood I knew there had to be a reason I am still here. God has a purpose for me in this life.

Now I had/ have to trust that He will lead me to where I need to be and what I need to do.Still waking up every morning tells me my job is not yet done.

AS a child I wanted to write a book so others who were going through or would be going through what I was at that time going through would know they are not alone. AS I grew older others began telling me I was easy to talk to. So maybe my role is author turn counselor. I don’t know. What I do know for sure is I am a persistent lil thing. You may hurt me but I will get back up.

So let me ask you

 What is your motto?

I hope you visit my friends blog as well.

  1. I love the quote you added: when you give up your dream you die.

My quote is this: Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.

    Great post!

  2. Hey Julia, Thank you for stopping by. Congrats on your book!
