To Our Lord and Savior

Connecting to the soul is going where it might not have gone before, self promotion. Recently God has whispered in my ear to write a book that depicts all the events in my past for which I am thankful for. Now although Thanksgiving is technically over, Giving thanks to Our Lord and Savior  should NEVER end. He is the reason we are here and breathing. He is the reason we have the good things in our lives - even when the  bad happens Mighty God shines a light on the good things we have and should be grateful for.

Sometimes in our busy lives we can forget that. I mean with  families, jobs, bills, car trouble, and so many more things that I could take a full page to chart, who can blame us.  But in the midst of all that  God is there with us.  But Psalms 46:10 tells us" God is our refuge and strength".  He knows what we are going through and He is not going to let us go through it alone. All we need to do is look up  and call Him and He will be there.

"I'm thankful for.... God's mighty lessons" is a collection of some of those things for which I am grateful for in times when life seems hopeless. In those times He may send someone to help us comfort us and be with us. Or He may send us in to help, comfort and be with someone else.  But the one thing that is forever true is God is with us.

So always remember besides the shameless promotion   that God is with you in every situation and all you must do is call on him and he will be there.

   Father thank you for the many blessings you have given us. We can not be without you. Bless and comfort those who have no shelter and food for they need your shelter  Father.

Thank you for sending Jesus that we might have the things we do.And thank you for your love without it we are truly alone.
