As many of you know, I am on summer break from classes. I don't go back until Aug 19th. But as I sit here there is something missing, the serenity of my dorm. Don't get me wrong I love sleeping in and don't have to go any where unless I want to, as well as getting manuscripts writing and ready for the publisher its just the atmosphere is different.
In my dorm I had my bibles laid out and my crosses on each room wall reminding me of who's there as well as why I'm there - to learn to write inspirational/ spiritual stories. My days were filled with focusing on being God's vehicle each day now its focused on writing and getting stories ready to hit the shelves.
Although this is more laid back there are times i miss the structure and atmosphere I created there at school. So I will start to work hard at being content with where I am and what I've been given.
I can so relate to missing certain structure and atmosphere! Thank you for the reminder that He makes it possible to be content anywhere
ReplyDeleteyour welcome, I often have to remember our brother its before coffee so I don't remember if its Paul or Peter,I will look it up today) who says I have learned to be content with either having too much or not enough, of living here vs there. But wherever we are we must remember GOD. IS.THERE.
ReplyDeleteI need to work on becoming content in my life. Thanks for reminding me.
